How can we help teenagers improve their self-esteem?
Family, friends and teachers play a fundamental role in fostering self-esteem. There are some small tips that we can share with our teenagers to take care of their self-esteem:
- Encourage them to spend time getting to know themselves.
- Set small goals to be able to achieve them easily and, little by little, increase the difficulty to realize that they are capable of doing it.
- Understand diversity as something that is present, in order to put aside stereotypes and understand that each person is different (both psychologically and physically).
- Rely on trusted relationships to have fun and share moments when they need it.
